This page is a tribute to the Yankees bringing the baseball championship for the 27th time. I've been a Yankee fan since I was about 8. The first game I went to I saw Mickey Mantle hit a homerun. As a teenager I would get into about 15 games a year free. I was what was called a "con-edison kid". Free tickets went to the unprivileged kids in low income housing.

Tonight I watched the Yankees win game six in my good luck jersey.
