Everyone's been waiting to celebrate Mariannes's 50th birthday. She's such a good person. The celebration is at the China Club in Times Square, New York city.

There was live music, good hors d'oeuvres and about 200 people many we know. Tonight it was me, Robin, Jamey and Christine.

I had this guy try to pick me up at the party. From what I know he has a lot of money. He said to me let's leave the party now and fly down to Miami for the weekend. It's a Wednesday night and I have a ton of work waiting for me on Thursday and Friday at the office. No way! While chatting with him he offered to buy me a drink, I took it. I mentioned to him the bartender was a little bit snotty to me. Wouldn't you know he wanted to make the bartender apologize to me. I told him leave it alone. When he got another drink for me he went and talked with the bartender. He was tough rough around the edges, I just excused myself and found my friends.

Not a lot of pictures tonight. I'm not feeling good and over the next month I didn't go out much because of it. I gained 10 unwanted pounds and without going into details spent a lot of time home and at the doctor offices trying to figure it all out. Good news as I'm writing this up now two months later I'm feeling much better. Rough getting old.
